News Congratulations to Sandwich - Mass Division 2 State Champs The Clippers may have come up short of their goal of winning the D1 State title but all in all it was a fine season. A 7-1 win over Franklin gave the Clippers the Cape Cod Cup championship. A 9-3 win over Archbishop Williams and a fine 3-3 tie against super 8 qualifier Waltham gave Falmouth a fine showing in the Cape Cod Classic. Two wins, 5-1 over Brockton and 7-1 over New Bedford got the Clippers to the semifinals of the state tournament. Mike Wilson, Danny Leary and Tylor Sabens each had more than 20 points. Rossco Sweeny collected 35 points with 15 goals and junior Shawn Price led all scorers with 28 goals 12 assist for 40 points. Price now has 71 caree points. Good luck to all of the seniors and I hope all of the returning players will work in the off season to bring that state title to Falmouth next season. From the Boosters: We will be scheduling our annual hockey banquet within the next few weeks. I am thinking it will be late March on a Friday or Saturday evening. We will be celebrating the event at the PAL facility on Brick Kiln Road. This year will be a Pot Luck Dinner with a cash bar. I will need help preparing this event. Please contact me via email or telephone if you want to help me out. ![]() Photo Courtesy of Intheactionphotos.com ACL Schedules added. Thanks to Jim Clark at the Boston Herald.
